These guitars will probably go down as the best Epiphone guitars ever produced as Epiphone teamed up with the Gibson Custom Shop for this 1 year only run of 1958 Korina Reissues. AND, considering the Gibson branded Korina reissues cost $10,000 and up, our prices are the bargain of the century, you get the same guitar (The Same Wood and Neck at the standard price). Again, the wood, the wood cut, neck materials and setting processes are 100% identical to the $10,000 Gibson branded reissues. The differences are the pickups, hardware, pots, tuners, ect, the wood is the same.
STANDARD OPTIONS: The prices above are dependant on a standard series of options such as FLEOR and Wilkinson Pickups, which sound awesome, and off the shelf pots and switches. All guitars are cavity shielded and we use shielded wiring. We also match tone pots and only use high tolerance orange drop caps. The guitar will be properly setup per the guitar's individual geometry.
NON STANDARD OPTIONS: The customer may choose to add Gibson branded pickups, tuners, pots, wiring and wiring schemes. Also the customer may choose to add authentic PAF pickups and late 50's to early 60's pots, era tuners, even era caps can be added at a considerable extra cost. Each custom build with these non-standard options are quoted within a wide MOE as the market will dictate the prices at that particular time, coupled with the agreed lead-time for delivery.
DISCLAIMER: Most of these guitars were stamped USED by Epiphone/Gibson and the last 4 of the SN was obliterated, due to finish cracks, purely cosmetic flaws. KCGW will always disclose the entire history of every guitar we sell accurately and honestly.
